01. Role Registry
SECURE NETWORK ALLIANCE (SNA)
ANALYST
Function: Performs a deep-scan on one node nightly.
Result: Learns "Obsidian Process" or "Not Obsidian Process."
Special: The Infiltrator Leader always appears as "Not Obsidian."
SHIELD
Function: Targets one node for protective layering.
Effect: If target node is compromised, the Shield is removed instead.
STABILIZER
Function: Reinforces one node's integrity.
Effect: Reinforced node cannot be compromised for that cycle.
ENFORCER
Function: Targets one node to disable their primary ability.
Effect: Target’s ability fails for that night cycle.
CITIZEN
Effect: No active night function. Strength in numbers.
OBSIDIAN PROCESS (OP)
INFILTRATOR LEADER
Function: Selects final compromise target. Masks alignment from Analyst.
SCANNER
Function: Scans one node nightly to learn its exact role.
Variant A (Lone): Scanner wakes alone; info shared via day talk.
Variant B (Linked): Wakes with faction; all OP see the result.
INFILTRATOR
Function: Consults with Leader to choose nightly target.
ANALYST VS SCANNER
Analyst (SNA): Broad alignment. Learns "Obsidian" or "Not".
Scanner (OP): Precise diagnostic. Learns the exact role.
02. Night Sequence
Order of Resolution:
- 1. Enforcer: Disables target.
- 2. Stabilizer: Reinforces target.
- 3. Shield: Protects target.
- 4. Analyst/Scanner: Information scans.
- 5. Obsidian Process: Final Compromise.
03. Special Scenarios
Enforcer vs Leader: If the Enforcer disables the Infiltrator Leader, the Obsidian Process cannot compromise a node that night.
Shield vs Reinforce: If a node is both Shielded and Reinforced, the Reinforcement takes priority (no Shield is consumed).
04. Day Phase & Purge
- Dawn: Reveal night removals.
- Discussion: 3–5 minutes.
- The Purge: Point on three. Majority is removed.
05. Win Conditions
SNA Victory
All OP roles (Leader, Infiltrators, Scanner) removed.
OP Victory
OP count matches SNA node count (Parity).
Rogue Victory
Entity survives until either faction wins.
